Senior Infant Science
Senior Infants had great fun working together in science this week. We created patterns with skittles and watched what happened when we added warm water.
Tá Seachtain na Gaeilge ag teacht.
Beidh Seachtain na Gaeilge ag tosnú ar 1ú lá de Márta. Beidh damhsa, ceoil, quizeanna, ealaín, spórt agus spraoi againn. Beidh gach páiste ag tógáil páirt.
Seachtain na Gaeilge starts next Friday March 1st with dance , music, art and lots more. It would be great if everyone could use whatever Irish they have ( it doesn’t matter if it’s 1 word or 1000). It’s our language to use.
Cycling Lessons for our 5th Class pupils with Cycleright
What is Cycle Right?
CYCLE RIGHT is the National Standard for Cycle Training and provides practical cycle safety and skills training to promote competent and confident cyclists.
CYCLE RIGHT is produced and supported by the Department of Transport, the Road Safety Authority and Cycling Ireland, with input from central and local agencies and other groups.
We have organised for Cycleright to come to our 5th class pupils this term!
2 instructors will come to the school and deliver four 1 hr 45 min lessons, covering areas such as Theory and Rules of the Road training, Core Bicycle-Handling and Road-Skills training.
All of the training will take place in the school yards in a simulated road environment, so it will be completely safe.
We are very happy to be able to make this training available to our pupils!
